Q. Hey, don’t I know you? I don’t think that’s what you were called.

A. I decided to shorten my first name and adopt a middle name while at university, which I now go by professionally. But I occasionally use my married surname elsewhere, in more private online spaces (and legal documents). If you’re confused, that’s probably why.
